Ben la pique, il fallait la tenir en pointant le bout pointu vers l'ennemi (comme plein d'autres choses )

C'est clair que sinon c'est le bazar, pour manœuvrer bonjour le bordel!

Je me doute bien
Mais sérieux t'avais surement intérêt à avoir de bons bras (je ne connais pas le bois utilisé ni le poids total d'une pique) et surtout à ne pas louper l'ennemi car une fois la pointe évitée... Et il ne fallait pas la baisser trop vite en manœuvre sinon ton collègue 3 rangs plus loin... mal au cul le pauvre

L'avantage d'une phalange est justement de présenter au moins 3 rangs de pointes avant d'arriver sur un des soldats. Et les Macédoniens les tenaient à deux mains, 'faut pas l'oublier non plus.
Ceci dit, comme le noyau professionnel devait s'entraîner bien plus que d'autres combattants, 'devaient pas être manchots les gars macédoniens. Et avoir des tchôs biscotos bien costaus...
