    Le Carnet de Développement de Way of Life

    Salut tout le monde! Je suis Tobias Bodlund, scénariste de l'équipe de Crusader Kings II, et j'aimerais vous souhaiter à tous la bienvenue sur le carnet de développement de "Way of Life".

    Pour commencer, cette expansion est assez petite par rapport a d'autre plus grande, et sa sortie étant prévue dans moins d'une semaine, nous n'aurons qu'un seul carnet de développement.
    Alors asseyez-vous et profitez-en! L’intérêt de cette expansion n'est pas dans l'ouverture d'une nouvelle période de l'histoire ou de nouvelles zones à conquérir - plutôt, ce serait d'aller plus loin dans les activités personnelles des personnages et comment ils évoluent (ou manipule) leurs relations avec d'autres personnages .
    Lors de la conception de cette expansion, nous voulions également permettre aux joueurs de choisir dans une certaine mesure quelle direction prendront leurs personnages à un niveau personnel, sans donc les enfermer dans une certaine zone du jeu.
    La façon dont nous avons décidé de le faire est par le biais d'un nouveau concept appelé "Focus".
    Les Focus sont le concept de base de l'expansion "Way of Life". Lorsque vous démarrerez votre jeu, vous serez en mesure de choisir un Focus pour votre personnage, et cette orientation aura une incidence sur la disponibilité et la fréquence de certains types d'événements associés à cette mise au point, ainsi que le déblocage de certaines décisions et actions que vous pouvez effectuer envers d'autres personnages.
    Il y a aussi des bonus directs qui s'appliquent à votre personnage quand il vient de choisir un Focus.
    Chaque point est conceptuellement lié à un attribut de caractère (deux pour chaque attribut), et le bonus le plus commun est une augmentation de ces attributs.

    Voici les Focus que vous pouvez choisir:

    Famille : Engagez-vous avec les membres de votre famille et assurez-vous qu'ils s'entendent.

    Ripailles: Vous permet d'inviter les gens à des "parties privées"(?), ce qui est bon pour se faire de nouveaux amis et passer généralement un bon moment.

    Guerre: S'intéresse à la guerre, ce qui vous permet de vous battre en duel, entre autres choses.

    Chasse: Ouvre de nouveaux events liés à la chasse, et est maintenant une nécessité pour certaines décisions liés a la chasse.

    Domination: Gouvernez votre Royaume, marchandez avec l'administration.

    Affaires: Traitez avec les maires, fondez une route commerciale, construisez des choses.

    Intrigue: Vous permet d'espionner les gens, de les calomnier, et de libérer les membres de votre famille emprisonnés ou enlevés.

    Séduction: Définissez votre cible, et efforcez vous de la faire vôtre.

    Savoir: Continuez votre chemin dans la voie de la Recherche.

    Théologie: Nécessaire pour les pèlerinages, ouvre plusieurs nouveaux événements religieux (y compris pour les païens), et affecte la fréquence des autres événements religieux.

    Certains des Focus ont des conditions qui doivent être remplies avant de pouvoir les choisir. Par exemple, vous ne pouvez pas choisir le Focus de la Séduction si vous êtes célibataire, ou le Focus de Chasse si vous êtes Jain.
